After setting this camera up, I must say its a very good quality wireless IP camera. Foscam has always been making very good quality surveillance cameras. The image of this HD 1080P camera is clear with very good color contrast. The setup with the Foscam app is very simple and straight forward. You can view the live video using the same Foscam app after setup. With the app, you can save images or videos to your local device.

I mounted this camera pointing to the front of my house and it has a very wide lens so it has a large viewing angle. With the night vision 30 IR LEDs, it capable of lighting the streets at night and you can see what is happening. If you want to enable other functions of the camera such as accessing the built in web server and DDNS for WAN access, refer to the include user manual which came with the CD and it has very good information to guide you. The nice thing about Foscam is they also offer lifetime online tech support for free.

This camera is easy to setup and has very good 1080p resolution. It has a built in micro SD card which can be setup to record the motion detection. The camera has its own built in web server which you can access directly by setting up the DDNS. The night vision uses a single high power IR led and works very well to light a room when there is no ambient light.

This camera has many function and can be viewed via 1) smartphone Foscam app, 2) direct to Web Server of camera, 3) log into Foscam website.
So in summary the performance of this camera is very good and you just have to spend some time to learn the setup by reading the very good user manual.
